Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Every document has its own flat fee, published in the catalog. MELs, training programs and operations manuals are priced by aircraft class, and packages cost less than their documents bought separately. We never bill by the hour. A specialist confirms your exact quote before you pay anything. The large-cabin business jet LOA program (ten LOAs, the IOPM and a large-cabin MEL) is $8,050.
What do I actually have to do?
Tell us what you need and about your aircraft (about two minutes). Send the records we ask for. Review a proof, approve it, and pay the balance. We prepare the documents and help you answer the FSDO's questions about them.
How long does it take?
We give you a delivery date in your quote, once we know your aircraft and records. The FAA's own review time is separate and outside anyone's control; we tell you where each submission stands.
Is this FAA approved?
No. Only the FAA approves or accepts documents and issues LOAs. We prepare to the published requirements (CFR, advisory circulars, FAA Order 8900.1 and the FSDO's data collection tools) and support you through the FSDO review.
What if the FSDO asks for changes?
FAA-requested revisions to what we prepared are part of the job at no extra charge. Changes caused by new information about your operation may be quoted separately, and we tell you before we start.
Do you submit it to the FAA for me?
We prepare the complete package and tell you exactly how and where to submit it. Where you authorize us, we can handle correspondence with your FSDO on your behalf.
When do I pay?
Nothing is charged when you send a request. After your quote, you pay a 50% deposit to start and the balance when you approve the proof. The deposit is refundable before work starts.
Who prepares my documents?
Working pilots and compliance specialists. Every document is reviewed against its requirements checklist before you see a proof.
Are my records safe?
Uploads are private to your account and used only for your job. See the Security page for how we handle and protect your data.
Do you cover helicopters and smaller aircraft?
Yes. Part 91 and 135 helicopter operators, HAA, Part 133 and Part 137, plus turboprops, light and midsize jets. Our focus is business jets, including the largest corporate aircraft. We do not prepare airline (Part 121) certification.
Do you keep my documents current?
Update plan: $4,400 per aircraft per year, or $399 per aircraft per month, for a large-cabin business jet. Other aircraft classes: priced in your quote. Pay yearly and save $388 a year per aircraft. We revise your LOAs, IOPM and MEL when the regulations change. Yearly billing: billed once a year per aircraft. It renews automatically each year until you cancel; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid year. Monthly billing: billed each month per aircraft. Cancel any time; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.
Can my flight department or management company share an account?
Yes. Organizations have multiple users with admin, preparer and viewer roles, a shared fleet and invoicing.
How do I reach a person?
