Terms of Service
Effective date: October 31, 2026. Last updated: October 31, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Hardison Investments LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as BizJetDocs ("BizJetDocs", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your use of bizjetdocs.com, your account, our phone and text services, and every document and service you order from us (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. Section 22 explains how disputes are resolved.
1. Accepting these Terms
You accept these Terms when you create an account, check the box agreeing to them, accept a quote, pay an invoice or otherwise use the Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service for a company, flight department, aircraft owner or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organization.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is offered for aircraft, operators and filings under United States (FAA) regulations, and is intended for use in the United States.
3. Who we are
BizJetDocs is a trade name of Hardison Investments LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Department of Transportation or any other government agency, or any aircraft or equipment manufacturer.
4. What the Service is
We prepare FAA compliance documents for you on a full-service basis: leases and agreements, letter of authorization (LOA) applications, manuals, minimum equipment lists, programs and related documents. A specialist prepares each document from your answers, the records you provide, public FAA records about your aircraft and crew, and public regulatory sources, and checks it against the rule text before release. The scope of each job is the document or package described in your quote or order.
5. Not legal advice. No guarantee of FAA acceptance
- Not legal advice. We are not a law firm. The Service is not legal, tax, accounting or regulatory advice, and no attorney-client or other fiduciary relationship is formed. Have your own aviation attorney and tax advisor review leases, agreements and anything with legal or tax consequences.
- No guarantee of FAA acceptance. Only the FAA can accept or approve a document, and it may ask for changes. Nothing we deliver is approved, accepted or endorsed by the FAA. We do not guarantee acceptance, approval, timing, or any operational, legal or tax outcome.
- You submit. We do not submit documents to the FAA for you or act as your agent before the FAA unless we agree to that in writing.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- giving us complete, accurate and current information and records, and telling us promptly when something changes;
- having the right to share the records and personal information you give us, including information about crew members, owners and other people, and having told them you are sharing it;
- reviewing every document in full before you sign or use it;
- signing, submitting the documents to the FAA, making any required notifications, and meeting every filing deadline; and
- operating your aircraft in compliance with all applicable regulations, which remains your responsibility at all times.
Our documents are only as accurate as the information they are built from. We are not responsible for errors that come from information you or your representatives gave us.
7. Your account
Keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us right away if you think someone has used your account without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may sign in with an email and password or, if you choose, with a Google or Microsoft account.
8. Quotes, fees, deposit, balance and taxes
- Flat fees. Every job is a flat fee in U.S. dollars, quoted before you pay. A quote is valid for the period stated on it. Work outside the quoted scope, such as additional aircraft, extra documents or changes after you approve a proof, is quoted separately before we do it.
- Deposit and balance. When you accept a quote we issue a deposit invoice for 50% of the fee. Work begins after the deposit is paid and has cleared. We issue the balance invoice when you approve the final proof, and the balance is due then. Final documents are released after payment in full has cleared.
- Payment methods. You can pay by card or by bank transfer (ACH) through our payment processor's secure form, or by wire transfer on request. A bank transfer can take several business days to clear, and work or delivery waits until it does. If a payment is returned or reversed, we may pause work and delivery until it is paid.
- Invoices. Invoices and receipts are issued by BizJetDocs and sent to the email on your account.
- Taxes. Our document preparation is a professional service and is not subject to Florida sales tax. If you ask for separately charged printed or bound copies, any sales tax that applies to them is shown on the invoice. You are responsible for any other taxes that apply to you.
- Disputed charges. If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first so we can fix it quickly.
9. Proofs
Before release you see a watermarked proof so you can check it. Proofs are for review only and may not be copied, printed, filed or used for any other purpose.
10. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
11. Update plans and other subscriptions
Some services, such as our update plan, are subscriptions. A subscription is billed monthly or yearly as you choose, and it renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price then in effect until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account or by contacting us, and the cancellation is effective at the end of the paid period; you keep the plan's benefits until then. We will tell you about a price change at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal. Revisions under a plan cover the documents you purchased from us while the plan is active, as described when you buy it. Update plan: $4,400 per aircraft per year, or $399 per aircraft per month, for a large-cabin business jet. Other aircraft classes: priced in your quote. Pay yearly and save $388 a year per aircraft. We revise your LOAs, IOPM and MEL when the regulations change. Yearly billing: billed once a year per aircraft. It renews automatically each year until you cancel; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid year. Monthly billing: billed each month per aircraft. Cancel any time; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.
12. Turnaround and revisions
Turnaround times we give are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and depend on you providing complete information and records. Revisions the FAA asks for to what we prepared are handled as part of the job, as described in our Refund Policy.
13. Intellectual property and your license
- Our materials. The website, our templates, document structures, checklists, question sets, methods, software and all content we create are owned by us or our licensors and protected by U.S. copyright and other laws. Except for the license below, no rights are transferred to you.
- Your license. When you have paid in full, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use, copy, revise and file each delivered document for the operator and aircraft named in it, including sharing it with the FAA, your attorneys, accountants, insurers, lessors, lenders, crew and maintenance providers for that purpose. If the aircraft is sold or the operator changes, the new owner or operator may keep using the documents for that same aircraft.
- Restrictions. You may not resell, sublicense, publish or share a document, or use it as a template, for any other aircraft, operator or person, and you may not remove license marks or identifying marks. Each delivered copy carries buyer-specific marks so unauthorized copies can be traced to the order they came from. See Copyright and license.
- Your information. You keep ownership of the information and records you give us. You grant us a license to use them to provide the Service, to keep the records described in our Privacy Policy, and, in de-identified form that does not identify you, your aircraft or any person, to improve our documents and methods.
14. Confidentiality
We treat the records and information you give us as confidential. We use them only to provide the Service and share them only as described in our Privacy Policy, with your permission, or when the law requires it. You agree to keep our non-public pricing, proofs and methods confidential.
15. Acceptable use
You agree not to: give false information or impersonate anyone; upload records you have no right to share, or anything unlawful or harmful; use the Service to deceive the FAA or anyone else; copy, scrape or harvest the site or its content by automated means; probe, test or bypass our security; interfere with the Service or other users; reverse engineer our software; or use the Service to build a competing product. We may refuse or stop work that we believe would violate the law or these Terms.
16. Third-party services
Some parts of the Service rely on others, such as payment processing, email, text messaging, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, and public FAA data sources. Their terms may also apply to you, and we are not responsible for their services or for public records that are wrong or out of date.
17. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or our Refund Policy, the Service and all documents are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the event that caused it; and
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or business, loss of use of an aircraft, delays, grounding, charter or substitute aircraft costs, fines or civil penalties, even if we were told they were possible.
These limits apply whatever the legal theory, and they reflect how we price the Service. They do not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
19. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Hardison Investments LLC, BizJetDocs and their members, managers, employees and contractors from claims, losses, penalties and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from information or records you provided, your use of the documents, your operation of any aircraft, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
20. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as hurricanes and other severe weather, natural disasters, power, internet or provider outages, government action including FAA system outages or rule changes, labor disputes, epidemics or acts of war or terrorism. We will tell you and resume as soon as we reasonably can.
21. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, do not pay, or use the Service unlawfully. If we end a job for reasons that are not your fault, we refund the fees for work not yet performed. Sections that by their nature should survive, including fees owed, the license restrictions, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and dispute resolution, survive termination.
22. Dispute resolution
Most problems can be solved quickly by talking to us. Before starting any legal claim, you and we each agree to send the other a written notice describing the dispute and the remedy wanted, by email for notices to us, and to try in good faith to resolve it for at least 30 days. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies, and either party may seek urgent court relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
23. Governing law and venue
These Terms and any dispute relating to the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit must be brought only in the state courts located in St. Lucie County, Florida, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Fort Pierce Division, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
24. Electronic communications and signatures
You agree to receive agreements, quotes, invoices, receipts, notices and other communications electronically, by email, through your account or on this site, and that they satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. You agree that your electronic signature, including checking a box, clicking to accept or signing a document through our signing pages, is legally binding under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Florida Uniform Electronic Transaction Act. You may ask for a paper copy of a record or withdraw your consent to electronic records by contacting us, but we may then be unable to provide the Service. You need a device with internet access, a current web browser, an email account and the ability to open PDF files.
25. Notices
We send notices to the email address on your account, and they are effective when sent. Send notices to us by email to support@bizjetdocs.com with "Legal notice" in the subject line; they are effective when we confirm receipt.
26. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for a material change, tell you by email or in your account before it takes effect. Changes do not apply to an order you placed before the change. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
27. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, SMS Terms and any quote or order you accept, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier understanding. If a quote you accepted conflicts with these Terms, the quote controls for that order. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is enforced to the maximum extent allowed and the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them to a successor to our business. Headings are for convenience only. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
